אנו, צוות הפיתוח של אפליקציית מה בצלחת (What's on my Plate), מכבדים את פרטיות המשתמשים ומתחייבים לשקיפות לגבי אופן השימוש במידע.

סקירה כללית

האפליקציה מאפשרת לצלם או לבחור תמונת מזון ולקבל הערכה תזונתית (קלוריות, חלבון, פחמימות, שומן ועוד) באמצעות בינה מלאכותית. האפליקציה אינה דורשת הרשמה, אינה אוספת חשבונות משתמש, ואינה מציגה פרסומות.

מידע שנאסף

האפליקציה אינה אוספת שם, כתובת דוא"ל, מספר טלפון, מיקום, אנשי קשר, פרופיל בריאות או מידע מזהה אישי אחר.

כאשר אתה בוחר לנתח מנה, נשלחים הנתונים הבאים רק לצורך בקשת הניתוח הספציפית:

• תמונת המזון — התמונה שצילמת או בחרת מהגלריה
• העדפת שפה — כדי להציג את תוצאות הניתוח בשפה שבחרת באפליקציה

הרשאות המכשיר

• מצלמה — לצילום תמונת מזון לניתוח (רק כשאתה בוחר לצלם)
• גלריה / תמונות — לבחירת תמונה קיימת לניתוח (רק כשאתה בוחר "בחר מהגלריה")

האפליקציה לא גוששת בגלריה ברקע ולא ניגשת לתמונות ללא פעולה מצדך.

כיצד נעשה שימוש במידע

1. האפליקציה שולחת את תמונת המזון ואת קוד השפה לשרת Backend שלנו (rafibz.co.il).
2. השרת מעביר את התמונה לGoogle Gemini API (מודל gemini-2.5-flash) לצורך ניתוח תזונתי בלבד.
3. תוצאת הניתוח מוחזרת לאפליקציה ומוצגת לך.

הניתוח מתבצע בשרת — לא על המכשיר. מפתח ה-API של Gemini מאוחסן בשרת בלבד ואינו מוטמע באפליקציה.

שיתוף עם צדדים שלישיים

תמונות המזון שאתה בוחר לנתח מועברות ל-Google Gemini API (Google) לצורך יצירת הערכה תזונתית בלבד. Google מעבדת את הנתונים בהתאם לתנאי השימוש ומדיניות הפרטיות של Google Gemini API.

אנו לא מוכרים, משכירים, או משתמשים בנתונים שלך לפרסום, יצירת פרופיל, או כל מטרה מסחרית אחרת.

אחסון ושמירת מידע

• תמונות מזון ותוצאות ניתוח אינן נשמרות במסד נתונים לאחר סיום הבקשה.
• השרת שומר נתונים טכניים מינימליים למניעת שימוש לרעה (הגבלת קצב), כגון כתובת IP מוצפנת (hash) וחותמת זמן של הבקשה. נתונים אלה אינם משמשים לזיהוי משתמשים או לשמירת תוכן מזון.

מודל עסקי

האפליקציה חינמית. אין מנויים, רכישות בתוך האפליקציה, פרסומות, או תוכן בתשלום. אין לנו כרגע מודל עסקי או הכנסות מהאפליקציה.

אבטחת מידע

אנו נוקטים באמצעים סבירים להגנה על המידע, כולל העברת ניתוח לשרת (ולא שמירת מפתח API באפליקציה), והגבלת קצב בקשות בשרת.

ייתכן שנעדכן מדיניות זו מעת לעת. תאריך העדכון האחרון מופיע בראש העמוד.

Privacy Policy – What's on my Plate

We, the developers of What's on my Plate (מה בצלחת), respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how information is used.

Overview

The app lets you take or select a photo of food and receive an AI-powered nutritional estimate (calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and more). The app does not require sign-in, does not collect user accounts, and does not show ads.

Information We Collect

The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, health profile, or other personally identifiable account information.

When you choose to analyze a meal, the following is sent only for that specific analysis request:

• Food image — the photo you take or select from your gallery
• Language preference — so results can be shown in your selected app language

Device Permissions

• Camera — to take a food photo for analysis (only when you choose to take a photo)
• Photo library / gallery — to select an existing photo for analysis (only when you tap "Choose from Gallery")

The app does not browse your gallery in the background and does not access photos without your action.

How We Use Information

1. The app sends the food image and language code to our backend server (rafibz.co.il).
2. Our server forwards the image to the Google Gemini API (model gemini-2.5-flash) solely to generate a nutritional analysis.
3. The analysis result is returned to the app and displayed to you.

Analysis is performed on the server — not on your device. The Gemini API key is stored on the server only and is not embedded in the app.

Sharing with Third Parties

Food images you choose to analyze are sent to the Google Gemini API (Google) for nutritional analysis only. Google processes data according to the Google Gemini API terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell, rent, or use your data for advertising, profiling, or any other commercial purpose.

Storage and Retention

• Food images and analysis results are not stored in a database after the request completes.
• The server keeps minimal technical data for abuse prevention (rate limiting), such as a hashed IP address and request timestamp. This data is not used to identify users or store food content.

Business Model

The app is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or paid content. We do not currently monetize the app.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information, including server-side analysis (rather than storing API keys in the app) and rate limiting on the server.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date appears at the top of this page.
